Dishmaya literally means "from the Heaven".
Dishmaya began organically when Rabbi Sagi and Alizah Chekroun opened their hearts and home to dozens of young women seeking community and support. Over time, our reach has expanded to include groups of tourists and students looking for an inspiring and welcoming space.
At Dishmaya, we share a joyful and relatable Judaism, empowering participants to embrace, live, and breathe their heritage. In these challenging times for the Jewish people, we strive to provide a warm, supportive environment where everyone feels truly at home.
